We just returned from a nice long weekend. No real issues with noise. Super peaceful, we will be back.

So you do need a discover pass to stay here. I think it’s $10/day or you can spend $30 for the entire year. It’s a beautiful location with an amazing river running behind it. When you first get there on the left will be two camp spots with one being handicap only I believe. Then there’s more spots further in but they were all full.... more
So you do need a discover pass to stay here. I think it’s $10/day or you can spend $30 for the entire year.
It’s a beautiful location with an amazing river running behind it. When you first get there on the left will be two camp spots with one being handicap only I believe. Then there’s more spots further in but they were all full. You can also drive up the road a ways to find more parking spots.
It is way out there and I don’t know if you can reserve. It’s first come, first serve. So if it’s full .. we’ll you gotta drive almost 45 minutes back to town.
Also no service except in town

The Ahtanum Campground is located in the Ahtanum State Forest. It is a Department of Natural Resources (DNR) managed facility. It has 13 sites at no cost to stay overnight. The Ahtanum Campground is located in the Ahtanum State Forest. It is a Department of Natural Resources (DNR) managed facility. It has 13 sites at no cost to stay overnight. The Ahtanum Creek runs right through the Campground with many sites right next to the creek. The DNR did a major overhaul of the entire campground (New Gravel, Landscaping, Fire Pits, & Picnic Tables). Lots of trees & Mountain Ridge background makes this a special place.
ATV's are popular and there are lots of trails, & forest roads to explore.
