Each campground has a fire pit and a separate grill. I believe all also have a covered picnic table. About 10 of the spots could have fit our 25ft class C but there were more that could accommodate a small trailer/tent and car. If in a motorhome/trailer bring leveling equipment!!
Only downside we had was that the sites can be a bit close to one another, but it varies.

Steep, winding road to get here, but worth the effort. Campground and outhouses are neat and clean. Views are spectacular to this Midwestern boy. Neighbors were quiet and friendly. Well worth your time.

We really enjoyed this campsite. The price is reasonable and it’s clean with enough trash cans everywhere.
When we got there around 6pm on Sunday, still there were many sites open.
Great social-distancing from each sites and enough space for us to parallel park our car + 5th wheel!

Wish we would have arrived earlier; it was dark and that road to camp was long and winding! But it was easy to access for our equipment. Could definitely be tough for big rigs; some really tight corners. There’s a sign that says not recommended for longer than 25’ trailers. Saw cows along the road, grazing in the night. Water is only available at the bottom, near the camp host. We left on relatively early the next morning, headed for White Sands. On the way out we say African Oryx. So cool!! Wish we could have explored more. Would definitely stay again.

It is where the host is also located. It is a one way loop that takes you through the campsites. If you pass the site you want you will have to drive about 2 miles through the loop to get back. Once you get there the views are spectacular. We were there in mid November and the temp range was 45 to 75. Sites 12 to 14 have the best views in opinion. They have 180’ views and sites are very level. Fire pits and Bbq with each picnic table. There are great hikes also. We will definitely be back.

All of the below re: windy roads and unlevel spots. But, it's quite secluded and there are several hiking trails. Views are very nice. Weather can be changeable so keep an eye. It's 45 minutes to White Sands National Park and that is a stunning place, highly recommend. Water at the gate is very convenient.

Perfect for tents and small rigs. I saw a 28 foot trailer but he sure wasn't level. Only a handful of sites suitable for a big rig. Facilities are clean and accessible. Views and hiking are awesome, especially mid to late fall. The Alligator Pines are beautiful. Beware of skunks.

Stayed here after a day at White Sands National Park since they do not allow overnight RV camping. The roads are winding and steep with a very long one-way loop that goes around the campground. The sites are very uneven and backing in, hitching and unhitching were very problematic. Although the views were incredible and I had intended to stay 2 nights, I got in at dusk and left first thing the next morning. Cell service was decent.
