Yes, there were lots of nice, expensive campers , nothing junky. Had no noise issues with traffic. Felt very safe staying and leaving the campers while at a Softball tournament all day. Will definitely recommend staying there again!

Decided to stay here due to being located on the east side of Memphis, in Germantown area. The sites were tight packed, with long time residents. The price was a little high for what you get, in my opinion, but I felt safe and didn't have any issues.

Ex: One RV is enters north and the next site south. Most sites are permanent residence. As a full time RVer I am seeing that all over the country and this part is no different. The price far exceeds the quality of the park. I will not revisit this park in the future, unless improved and the check in process is professional.

We live here full time and will be here for a while due to job. Have to get special permission from park manager but he works with you. Our site is super cramped and our awning hits the next camper over! It seems they allow the agricenter workers to live here so there’s a lot of rundown campers with 3-4 guys living in them! Also since this is a show arena anytime a rodeo or convention comes into town this place gets packed!! Tons of “cowboys” rolling around in golf carts at full speed! If you’ve ever drive around memphis you know how stressful that can be... now add a trailer and huge truck! Since the agricenter is located right in the middle of everything getting here is rough! The plus side is you can see a lot of Memphis and enjoy shelby farms. The farmers market is located pretty much at the RV park and during the summer theirs a seafood guy who had great selection. Shelby farms has a 100 acre off leash dog park as well. If your looking for a “campsite” type rv park this is not it... theirs more room between camper at your local camping world then this place, but then again we are in Memphis...

Our checkin was a breeze, warm and friendly reception. Pull through spaces are close together but not extreme. It’s a little “off the beaten path” but the roads/streets are very good so no worries there. We would definitely recommend it and will probably stay here on our way back.

About what I'd expect for an expo center type RV park.
FHU, good cell signal, lots of RVs (even in Dec), convenient to visiting Memphis.
Arrival was easy, as was reserving via website, and checking in. Normal city sounds.

The Show Place Arena (rodeo) and Expo Center bring tons of people to the immediate area of the RV Park, they do put up ropes to try to keep them out of here. But that does mean the "public" are very aware of the "sitting ducks" in the park. Most of the people that are in the park are working in the area this time of the year. Lots of rigs with flat tires on them.
Amenities are not so good WiFi, water, electric, sewer and a gravel space. You will be able to hear your neighbor sneeze you are so close together. (see photos)
We had some horrible power issues for the two weeks here, eventually a failure at our site. I flagged down an end-loader that putting fresh gravel on the sites and he called someone. They arrived in five minutes with parts and swapped our our breaker. Good as new. He said happens all the time but they don't know about it until someone complains. So if you have bad power, complain to them so they can fix it.
There are major roads on the North and East of the park. You won't hear the noise on the West end for sure where we were. Some train noise in the distance.
You can have packages delivered to the main address. Must have the phone number and the name in the address. The office is not well equipped though to manage those, so be careful. There is a Whole Foods 5 minutes to the South, I don't know if they have an Amazon locker but if they do I would use that if you can for your Amazon items.
OpenSignal speed tests:
Verizon: 48ms, 26.67Mbps down, 18.09Mbps up
AT&T: 38ms, 33.91Mbps down, 15.65Mbs up
Free WiFi: useless

The Agricenter on Shelby Farms is pretty central to everything on the East side of Memphis. If you want convenience, this is the place. Now it is like being in a sardine can as far as how close you are to your neighbors. Our awning would hit the next guys if we both tried to have them out. It can be a little noisy if there is anything going on at the Agri-center. They always shut down by mid-night though and it is usually only on the weekends. You are in the 3000 acre Shelby Farms park so a lot of opportunity to walk, bike, jog and in good weather paddle the wolf river. The park has a fishing lake and a unique playground. There is a farmers market on the weekends.
At the actual RV park it has full hook-ups with sewers. We stayed on the weekly rate of $180.00. It wa fairly quiet. The police patrol the park at night. We felt pretty safe. WIFI works fairly well. We had not problems with the camp host, but have heard a few complaints on other sites. They seem to have gotten a second in so they can do shifts.
Will come again as we have family close. This is not a resort, but a great place if you want to site see Memphis or have business.
COME IN OFF GERMANTOWN ROAD ENTRANCE, NOT WALNUT GROVE!!!!! DON"T FOLLOW THE SIGNS ON WALNUT GROVE. NARROW WITH MANY SPEED BUMPS. If coming from I240 getting off at Walnut Grove Go all the way through the park to Germantown Rd. Make Rt and then directly another right into the main entrance. Then follow the signs easier.
