Overview of Aeneas Lake Dispersed Camping
A Discover Pass or Vehicle Access Pass is required to camp on Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife (WDFW) Lands.
Camping is allowed on select eastside water access areas. Camping facilities such as tent or RV pads, fire rings, and picnic tables are generally not provided.

Requires A Washington State Discover Pass or Vehicle Access Pass to camp. Clean vault toilets stocked with toilet paper, pull up beach swimming, mountains and mild wind...not much shade unless you get a spot by beach/boat launch area. Small town with everything you is 4 mi away. Roads are gravel, but good. I drove a mini van in.

About 50 acres on the lake surrounded by orchards and ranches amid rolling hills. Nice beach to swim from.

You do need a WA state Discovery PasS, but there is no additional fee. Right off a paved road. It did not look like the campground had been used this year, perhaps because of COVID. We only overnighted so did not use the vault toilet. There were a lot of people swimming at the lake so we did not venture down there either. Our view... more
You do need a WA state Discovery PasS, but there is no additional fee. Right off a paved road. It did not look like the campground had been used this year, perhaps because of COVID. We only overnighted so did not use the vault toilet. There were a lot of people swimming at the lake so we did not venture down there either. Our view besides the lake was sagebrush and an orchard. The site was pretty level and had a rock fire ring but no table. It was the last one passed the toilet and very roomy. There only seemed to be 3 sites. If we were in the area and needed an overnight, this works because it is only about 4 miles from Tonasket and Hwy 97(?), but it is not a place we would stay for days. Crawfish Lake is sooo much better, but lots farther from town.
Out cell signal was very slow, not able to do much besides email and text.

Nice place right on lake, has 3-5 sites and lake access. It is right off paved road. The only downside is the number of houses that look over the campsites. Also you need the $30 discovery pass to stay here. We picked up ours at walmart ($35 there due to service fee) The pass is a good deal if you stay for a while in WA as it seem... more
