“Great location near Custer monument”

Reviewed Aug 31, 2017

Overall Rating

Clean, well-maintained RV Park. Very clean restrooms, showers and laundry. Terraced, level parking on pull through sites. WiFi was weak during evening hours. Better at 2-4 AM.

Great camps hosts and owners.

Check map on website for directions. Owner warns about GPS errors.

“Cool park, but not for the noise sensitive.”

Reviewed Aug 16, 2017

Overall Rating

I really liked the layout of the park. Each site is set up on a terraced hill. Each has a grill, table, and little post light. The views are great!! But.... the trains down in the valley run ALL night, several sets of tracks. And maybe the wind was just right the night we were there, but the train horns and the rumbling on the trac... more

“One of our favorites!”

We first stumbled on 7th Ranch in early 2016 while we were bringing our Hawkins home after purchasing in Seattle. Later that year, while on a two week vacation out west, we were excited to include 7th Ranch in our travel plans. Check-in is easy and both times the staff was very nice. Free ice cream is an added bonus. There is a v... more

Very well kept and beautiful private campground. Had an end site at the bottom of the hill and the views of the rolling hills are fantastic. Everyone is escorted to campsite. Allows RV and car washing but beware- very hard water! All pull throughs. Decorative bird houses line the drive to the campground. There are no grocery store... more

“Nice park, close to Custer's Last Stand”

Reviewed Feb 24, 2017

Overall Rating

I believe (but am not sure) that this is the closest RV park to the Custer's Last Stand tourist site. All the RV spots are large and on a hill, so no matter which one you get, you have a view. The park is clean and well-kept. The people who run it are a bit harsh about leading you to your spot, even if you know where it is, but... more

The campsites are typical of RV Parks. Plenty of room, but not much privacy. There is a short distance you must travel on a dirt and gravel road. decently maintained, but is a little rutted. Drive Slow. Once in the park the roads are gravel and very well kept. All sites are gravel pull through and easy to access. All utilities were up ... more

One of those rare private parks where I want to sit in camp and look at the surrounding views. Rolling hills and trees in the distance. This is a beautiful location far away from anything else. Personable staff. You get a Montana famous "Wilcoxson's" ice cream upon check in. :) Great location in remote eastern Montana to visit Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument. Clean bathrooms. And beautiful night skies for star gazing.
