They have a great location. That is the ONLY thing good about this campground. It is located right beside a major freeway. And it is NOISY!!!! The trucks go by all night long. There are no trees, no barriers, NOTHING. You can see the parking lot that they call a campground from the freeway. You can see EVERYTHING from the freeway. No privacy whatsoever.
The pond is scummy, you can’t even see the creek, and did I mention IT’S LOCATED RIGHT BESIDE A MAJOR FREEWAY?
Go to Middle Fork campground, right down the road. Quiet, with trees.
This park is way over rated. It has nothing. The pool is closed, there is one working washing machine. Just book elsewhere unless you don’t need to sleep and you like the sound of a freeway.

This is a nice rv park. They are doing some renovations but nothing that would interfere with your stay. Close to Red River Gorge hiking.

Booked this site online on my way there. Only thing I'd suggest to improve is to give out the wifi password with the reservation somehow so I could have tried it out. The store was closed a few times I went to go find out. Minor issue though, park was overall great.
Also looks like they are continuing to expand to. A shower house or bathroom or something was under construction while I was there.

It is right off a road some some noise and so deep into the remote mountains of Daniel Boone National Forest that our Verizon Jetpak could Not connect so you’d have to have something stronger to get reception or satellite TV.

Traffic noise from the Parkway, but it quieted down at night. This site leaned hard to the drivers side and got the afternoon sun. You face the side of a hill which is peaceful for us humans, but didn’t give the dog much activity to watch. Well maintained and clean.

We were amazed at how clean this place was! Great location with Red River Gorge just down the road and Natural Bridge State Park not far away. Definitely bring groceries…we arrived late and unprepared as usual but we were coming in from Toledo, Ohio and didn’t have time to stop on the way. I’d definitely stay here again and actually trying to plan a trip back here. Verizon was 4G and AT&T was spotty. There is free WiFi and an available higher speed for a fee through the park.

Bring groceries although there are gas stations and restaurants just minutes away and Stanton is 9 miles away with a Kroger and Save-a-lot. We were in spot 27. Nice grassy area behind us and with the creek behind that. Only one other spot next to us and it was fairly close. The gravel pad is somewhat level depending on how close you get to the hookups to leave room on the gravel for the table, camping chairs, mat, etc. We went up two blocks. Bathrooms and showers are clean and spacious. Pool is small to medium size but warm and clean. Campground was quiet with campers and families of all ages and all different size rigs. Staff were nice, helpful and not looking over your shoulder. Playground and other fun stuff needs work.
