Not that I have much experience to draw from, but this is a fabulous city park. Just off of Hwy 370 and about 30 miles west of St Louis, MO, it was a great place to stay while touring the area. The park itself has much to offer: clean shower/restroom/laundry facility, a large lake with kayaks and canoes to rent, bicycles for rent, a large trail around the lake (approx. 4 miles), dog parks, and an archery range. Most of the sites have full hook-ups that were convenient and easy to use. The sites are spacious and long. Well thought out layout of the park. Cell service was decent (we are T-Mobile) and we use a hotspot so internet was fine for us. So much to do in the area; a must visit is the downtown of St Charles (just about 10 minutes away), Gateway Arch National Park, and Tower Grove city park. We also did the zoo in St Louis, it is free to the public, as is the Museum of History and parts of the Art Museum. Stores and restaurants were close by - everything was within driving distance, but you do have to drive to them. A great location and a great park. Highly recommend. There was a little bit of highway noise, Hwy 370 and this area is the hub for many large distribution centers, including Amazon, but it wasn't bad.

It is a safe, clean and pleasant campground and we have it on the list to return here when we come back to visit St. Louis.

Changed reservations to this place as we were beat, what a surprise. Really nice little park just off highway. Concrete pads, bike paths, dog park, sweet little lake and lots more. Only downside is no trees. If they had more trees it would be a 5 star for sure. Also, very large sites

Plenty of space between each site. It felt like the place was brand new but I asked the gentleman at the front desk, which is open 24 hours a day by the way, and he stated the place was built in 2011 which is pretty remarkable because everything feels clean and well maintained and brand new. Noise is a huge dissatisfier for me and this place was far enough off the interstate that noise was not an issue. I tried to stay another night because I was enjoying myself so much but they were fully booked… I can see why.

Paid $45 a night for a couple night stay. No discount memberships accepted. Full hookups (50amp, water, sewer). Paved roads, level concrete sites. Easy access to the freeway.
The best part about this campground is the 4.5 mile paved trail around the lake. We finally had a break in the rainy weather so we could go on a family bike ride at sunset around the lake.
There was a flood at the campground earlier this year 2019 so the trees are mostly dead. There aren't any mature trees so you don't have any shade but that didn't bother us since we were using the RV park as a base to head into St. Louis.
Several of our neighbors in the campground were doing the same thing and many of them said they have stayed at other RV parks in the area over the past few years and 370 Lakeside is by far the best.

We stayed a couple of nights here with friends. This would be a very good place to stay overnight if you are driving trough on I70. It is also a good place to stay and explore the St Louis region.
The place was regularly patrolled by security. Not sure why it appears to be in a safe area but the patrols were nice.

We’ve stayed in both lakefront premium back-in and pull-through sites, and we had no problems with space for our 45’ fifth wheel toy hauler and F-350 dually. If you stay here a week, you get one night free, and the rates are really reasonable. The campground is well-maintained, has a paved biking/walking track around the lake, an archery range, and separate large and small dog parks that can be used by campers for a small fee. You do have to fill out a form and have your dog’s vaccinations verified, which can take a day or two, but you can ask them to send you the form in advance and return it in advance via email or fax so there is no delay for your dog using the dog park when you arrive. We paid a $5 fee per week for our dog, which seemed reasonable considering it is a private community membership dog park that residents have to pay a monthly fee to use, and it has a lot of agility activities, a space for dogs to run on the beach, a water station, a covered sitting area, and a place to hose off your dog if they get messy. Rangers patrol on a regular basis, and someone is available at RV check in 24/7. The only slight negative is the practically non-existent wi-fi. Both times it was hard to access, but they do state it is a free “as is” service. We got good 4G mobile service on Sprint and Verizon, and we were able to use our personal hotspots so the complimentary wi-if service being poor was not an issue for us but something to be aware of before planning a trip. We have stayed here twice and will definitely be back. It is incredibly peaceful, and we love watching all of the geese and ducks on the lake.

An easy on/off the highway. We choose site 115 since it was their longest pull-thru site, to best allow us to stay hooked-up overnight. Their pull-through sites are 60-76 feet long. The turning radius to enter site 115 was a little tight for us, but doable. Ultimately the site was not level enough front-to-back to allow us to stay hooked-up overnight, so we would likely choose a shorter "non-premium" site during a future stay. The non-premium sites cost $5 less and they should be easier for longer RVs to pull into (i.e., the "premium" sites are closest to the water, but since they are at the end of the row you need to make a sharp U-turn to enter the pull-through site, if you want the hook-ups to be on the correct side of the RV).

This city park is just 4 years old. They have planted trees in appropriate places, but there just has not been much time for them to grow. The park has many amenities: an archery range, 3+ miles of paved bike/ walking paths, paddleboats, kayaks, and bicycle rentals. While you stay, you get resident fee access to other city amenities, including an indoor pool. There are a couple of small pavilions and one huge one for large outdoor events. There is a dog park in the works. there is free WiFi, but it was not a strong signal where I was, and I could not always get on. I was told that sites near the laundry were the best for Wifi. Security was constant, with a ranger on duty 24/7. The park is convenient to St Charles and West St Louis County. Employees are friendly and helpful.
I am not a big fan of the broken asphalt surface, and be aware that sites near the road have light from street lights all night.
