Overall Rating

We stayed here for one night (May 29th) on our way north. The town has some interesting murals that caught our attention. The campground was clearly designed for tents. Almost all of the numbered sites were very sloped in one or more directions. We ended up in Site 5 because it only required 2 legos to get us leveled up enough that we didn't have to unhook.

There are outhouses, drinking water, and garbage cans at the campground entrance. There's a road going left just before the obvious entrance that leads to the secret spots. Turns out, it's a loop road and you can park anywhere you want along the left hand side of the loop, some of which gives at better chance at finding something level.

There are no dump facilities at this campground BUT the town operates a free dump site at the other end of town. Google Fi connectivity was enough to get online.

This place is closed!!! We tried to camp here last night. If you go further north out of town there is a rest area we spent the night. 8/26/21
