Across the road from this place is a side road with free parking.. probably not for big trailers to go down the hill but we were tent camping and found the perfect spot away from everything.. so quiet and in 3 days only 2 people passed us..

Didn’t camp here, just came up in January to hike to the falls. Very nicely marked and groomed trail system that was well used on a sunny Sunday afternoon. There are trails for snowmobiles and non-motorized as well, which explains the 20 snowmobile trailers in the large lot. I imagine it quiets down during the week and with decent cell (2 bars LTE on Verizon not boosted we considered coming back up to camp with the few truck campers already there). Note: it doesn’t appear to be plowed the last few miles in but with plenty of traffic the road was ok. Could have also been the government shut down so who knows. There were pit toilets, picnic tables scattered around and a big fire pit.

Bend, OR and Paulina Lake - Bounding Around Full Time RV
After visiting Crater Lake National Park on Saturday, we continued north on Highway 97 toward Bend on Sunday. On the way, we stopped for lunch at the Diamond Lake Junction Cafe. It’s kind of a hole...
